I want to color my hair using an at home kit, preferably one with no amonia. I have very dark hair, like my avatar, and I want to make it medium brown. Which brand is best? (Semi-permanet color please!) Thanks

In order to go from dark to a lighter shade, you need to do some beaching. None of the semi-permanent colors have any hair bleach in them. So it won't work. Semi-permanet color only deposits some color on top of what you already have.

The thing is, even if you want semi-permanent, because you are lightening your hair, it will be permanent.

It uses peroxide, which will lighten your hair permenently, but you can always color it back to your original if you are not happy.

I mostly sell Loreal products....Excellence and Preference are great brands....Loreal also has a two step system which includes the color and highlighting tools.

Natural Instincts

It won't fry your hair; it comes with a weekly (for 6 weeks) conditinor, and it's semi-permanent
