I've been dating my boyfriend for a little over 3 months now, and with our slightly conflicting schedules, it's been more difficult to keep in touch over the summer. During the year, we are both full-time college students who work part-time. I recently found a new job so I will be working more over the summer, while he works and takes a summer course. I want to send him something, by UPS or Fedex, just something rather small and sweet, to say that I'm thinking of him even though we can't always see each other as much as we want. I think it'd be a nice surprise, but I have no idea what to send! We are both in our 20s. Any suggestions?

Okay, what kind of course is he doing? What does he like eating?I would send him a cake or some really good chocolates. Don't send him anything you baked yourself, no matter how good you are at it,it will send signals of you wanting to smother him. If he is somewhere near the ocean send him an amazing beach towel.Or, if he is literary, a very nice pen.If he smokes, a fabulous lighter. You want to be getting him something that he will use and appreciate, or a decadent treat he wouldn't ordinarily buy with a short, snappy, warm yet mysterious note to make him feel like he is a man truly wanted, but not needed.Austrian marzipan would be nice and it will travel nicely, or Sicilian torrone(nougat), if you can have them delivered same-day then send some Maison du Chocolat macarons.My fail-safe gift though is always a book.If I were you I would use some velvet textured wrapping paper and silk ribbon. This will remind him of the tactile, have him remembering what your skin feels like and he'll then probably run back to you asap, perhaps before his course is finished!

A surprise package, 1 a loveletter, 2 something sweet and sugary to eat, 3 a naughty pic of you, 4 a plan for what you are going to do when you are together, 5 an mp3 with all kinds of music, from sexy to the things he likes best? those kind of things. few normal pics of you probably woulndt go amiss either. a phone card, and anything else small you can think of...

Why not keep it simple and send a card. He wouldn't be expecting it and it seems more appropriate for a 3 month relationship. I know if I were to receive something, anything, from someone I enjoyed being with it would be nice. Even if it's just a card. Start with that.
