JJ's Bleu Cheese Dressing

1 cup mayo
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 dash worcestershire sauce
1 dash of Tabasco
1 tablespoon wine, cider, or white vinegar
1-2 tablespoons finely minced onion
1/4 cup crumbled bleu cheese

Mix together in a bowl, adding the cheese last.

Bleu cheese won't give you lactose issues -- the milk sugars that cause problems are long gone in the fermentation process.

Being a southern girl, I always make homemade 1000 island dressing - mayo, ketchup & pickle relish. I found a new favorite of mayo, honey mustard, pickle relish & a sprinkle of garlic powder. Goes great on everything from chicken, potato skins, french fries, salad, etc......Quick, simple & yummy!!
