They are blinded to the truth. They think it will be one big party, but the truth is they don't understand. Satan blinds people, so they don't know what is going to happen to them. God gives everyone a chance, but too many people will fight Him to the end. They slip into eternity forever, and wished they had obeyed God. Even in the end during the Tribulation they will know who God is and still shake their fist at Him. This is so heart breaking, but true.

Because it contradicts the idea of a just loving god. If we believe that god is compassionate and merciful then the idea of him ordering someone tortured without respite with no possibility of end for all eternity seems kind of barbarous, cruel and pointless.
This idea can have several results. People reject the idea of god, they reject the idea of hell, or they believe that there is a hell and that god is a cruel tyrannical being that tortures his children. Many people reject the idea of worshiping solely out of fear.
Hell makes no sense. Think about it. If your naughty then your parents spank you. They don't drive spikes into your eyes for all eternity. We say god is good, wise, just, merciful and if you do anything to defy him or simply follow the wrong faith he will set you on fire forever and let awful creatures impale you with spears and pitchforks. How does that go with good, just , wise and merciful?

Hell is a Christian concept and something of an oxymoron. If God is omnipotent, then he knew from the beginning of time when you would be born and he knows right now when and at what time you will die. He also knows whether or not you will go to heaven or hell. Its obvious that a “hell bound” soul is different from a heaven bound soul. This difference is created. Who creates souls? God of course, thus, if hell exists, then God sends you there.
Further, at this moment, an omnipotent God knows when you will die and which way you will go, so no matter what you do, you can not change the future which God already knows. Thus, you may was well do as you wish since you can’t change what God already knows.

If you don't believe that hell is for real or if you believe that God would not sanction such a thing as he is love or if people get tired of hearing 'if you don't do as you're told, you're going to hell' every time you turn around. Suffering for all eternity for breaking a rule or maintaining a belief as a human being and not as a perfect person does not add up as perfect justice to me. Do I go to hell for not believing in hell?

For the same reason people don't fear Darth Vader or Sauron... they know it's just a bunch of stories.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

because they don't believe it's real. they feel the same about GOD. I love God eventhough i Have'nt seen him. I don't want to go to hell, it's not a good place to be for eternity. the devil have them so caught up in the world that they can't see all the evil in it. they are enjoying it, they needs to open their eyes

Probably for the same reason that Christians don't fear Ammit eating their heart after it's weighed in the afterlife by Anubis...

Because they dont believe in it or maybe the idea of playing a harp and singing "Away in a manger" for all of eternity bores them. But, Im betting they just dont believe in it.
