I'm of the same opinion as L'Chaim. In the abstract I'd *love* to move there, but that would mean uprooting myself and my family, learning a completely new culture, leaving my synagogue and non-synagogue community that I have now. I just don't think that I could do that . However, it's an absolutely amazing, wonderful, awe-inspiring, beautiful, phenomenal place to visit and I would go there every year if I could.
[edit], lol farien3 is right--it gets *really* hot there during the summer! At the top of Masada it must've been 120 degrees or so. I have trouble when it gets above 75!
