The fact that they can have so much fun with so little. Just give them a small pool of water and they throw a party. if it's deep enough, they'll scoot themselves underwater and pop up somewhere else. I love cleaning my ducks' pool because they all come running to have a bath and send the water everywhere. It's always a blast to watch them have so much fun.

What I like best about ducks is that when they are little and you take care of them they think of you as their mother and call for you!!! So cute!!!

Besides that they are just pretty birds mine were good pets. Not too noisy, generally freindly some would follow like a dog. Fun to watch. And if you live where snails and slugs eat your garden the will get them all.
