and you tell the guy when he asks you out again...politelly said.."Oh, I am not interested"...Then he says why?...i just said ...because ..I'm not interested....WHY DOESN'T HE TAKE THE HINT when you are TRYING TO say it nicely???(he is really not your type)...but you do not want to say it...

When you say something like that, he wonders what's wrong with him. A lot of guys can't think straight when they like someone, so cut them some slack. Be sure to give it to him straight though. Be pleasant, straightforward, and don't argue about it. Good luck!
Oh yeah, if you tell him you want to be friends and nothing more, that should make him get the hint. But he's going to be totally clueless as to what he's doing wrong, so that probably isn't the best option.
