I don't think either the sperm or the egg carry the soul. I believe they make the body which is the vehicle for the soul. I think that the soul moves into the body at birth. It is separate from the body. I am the soul that lives in this human body but I have always been and will always be.

Neither, if the egg or sperm carried the soul, then that would mean we're all walking around with souls in us! Yikes! I believe that God sends the soul at the moment of conception, when egg & sperm meet and new life begins.

Neither! The soul is instilled with the breath of life at birth! If a fetus dies in the womb or is still born they go right to God . There is no need for a soul when this happens because they are a perfect part of god all ready! We need a soul to be able to exercise our free will, and to show god whether we are good or bad. You know on this earth there are good souls and bad souls! Which one we become is a matter of personal choice!

Neither. Think about it. If every egg carried a soul all those eggs that pass through us never come about. Think about guys, especially in their teens years. LOL Talk about killing a lot of souls!

I honestly believe that by themselves, neither sperm nor egg has the soul. Once they come together, they become the soul.

eggs and sperm aren't even people yet... so if you do believe in a soul, eggs and sperm wouldn't have it.
if eggs had souls, women would be killing souls on their periods... if sperm had souls, i would have killed a lot of souls by now
