I got some other questions for you like what do you feed your dog ? Is he getting enough fiber in his diet that could account for the pecans but as for the cat poopoo dogs have a tendency to develope picas ,stuff they eat just because it's there .

Dogs eat cat poop because it has high protein. But your dog can pick up diseases from the cat, so keepthe dog away from this....

Pecans are hard and crunchy, so they feel good to chew. But they can hurt his teeth or his stomach. Remove the pecans and take him for long walks. Also, get him some hard rubber toys to chew on. You might go to the store and buy a KOng that you can fill with peanut butter and dog treats for your dog to chew on rather than pecans. But you still have to remove the peacans, and keep the dog away from the cat poop.

Dogs like to chew. Sometimes it's because they are teething. The best thing to do is to get everthing you don't want them getting into up and out of it's reach. Also, move anything that may be harmful, even pocket change as it can be deadly. Everytime you see the dog chewing on something it shouldn't be, replace it with a dog toy or bone. Something it is allowed to have. Keep doing this and it will eventually stop. Good luck!
