Speak to him when you see him...just Hello at first.
In no time you will be on greeting terms. Then move it up a level. Offer him something, a sweet from a bag of sweets for example. Then get chatting...friendship will develop and by then either one of you should be able to ask the other out. If he doesn't get in first, then you ask him!
What ever you do, don't play the 'my friend fancies you' game....This is disastrous and generally scares the boy off! This should be just between you and him.

You can't make anyone ask you out. If he doesn't know he has a chance with you, or he is too afraid to ask, he might never ask you out. Try asking him out instead. It might not work, but at least you won't lose anything by doing it. Good luck!
