what are some ways u have experienced a ghost or spirit?
do u know ways tto find out if u have them at your home

A friend and I worked late quite a few times for a real estate developer.
Our desks were side by side. The only thing behind us was another office. When we were on our computers, every so often you could see the reflection of a man and a younger boy right behinds us over our left shoulder.
I did not say anything until we went outside to break, I asked her if she had seen any strange reflections on her computer screen. She turned white and said yes, but did not want to say anything at the time. I asked her what she seen, she said it was of a man and a boy and it was over her left shoulder. She must have seen the blood drain from my face , because she asked if I had seen it too. They looked like they had on older grey clothes with beanie type hats and supsenders. That was the last night we worked nights. Every so often durring the day we would get a glimps of something streaking behind us and felt a cool breeze. She and I just kind of looked at each other when it happened and went back to work. No one else in the building has ever said anything. so we do not know if anyone else had seen it. This building used to be an old grocery store at one time. We do not know much else about it. The town is an old brick city. So we are sure there are more spirits roaming around.

Another scary thing is . Somtimes I have bad dreams. One dream was we were suppose to be at a park between these two towns, (there is no park there in real life) Some lady with grey hair is following us and going to shoot us.. We go through an old building and there is a china cupboard there with dolls and other things on it. There is a table and chair next to it. she never did catch us I guess. I woke up. I told a friend that something is going to happen to someone with in 3 days to a week. Sure a heck, my mother in law passed away. The only thing I can associate with her in the dream is her grey hair, the dolls and the table..freaky huh?

Another dream it was my grandpa's birthday. They were had it at the church. My uncle came up to me and said that g'pa was not going to make it because he was sick. My cousin came up and said Oh, great no food!. No idea where that came from.. Anyway the next day we went to my moms and my Grandpa and aunt came up and said that my uncle had died of a heart attack the night before.

When dad passed on it was a white light in the corner or my eye. looked and it was gone. but was still in the corner.

When a family friend passed on ( did not know at the time) I had a feeling Iwas to call his wife, and see how her hubby was as he was in the hospital. We talked for a while and then she finaly told me that he passed on.

I talked to my other aunt and she said that my Grandma had these dreams too and could tell when something like this was going to happen.

When my mom was a little girl in Poland, our grandparents bought a new house without knowing the history behind it.

One day my mom goes to play in the attic and starts 'talking' to some little girl there. Apparently somehow the attic locked from the outside of the door and no one could find my mother for hours.

Finally when they found her they asked how she got in the attic and what she was doing there.

She told them that she had been playing with the little girl in the attic and they looked at her like she was insane.

A few months later they did some research on the house and found out that a young girl got locked in the attic and died years back.

They quickly sold the house and moved after that.

Pretty creepy eh?

this is gonna be long, my husband has been thorough alot.

When he was a child he would dream about a creature with red eyes, adn he woke up with bruises on hid neck and shoulders, turns out his room had been the site of a suicide.

In HS, his parents had a house with a rental property on it, the lights would come on in the middle of the night, and he would see shadows. He stored musical equipment in the rental, and his guitar would be tuned so tight the strings would snap.

his best friend lives in a haunted house, and it often manafests when my husband is there. He has seen all kind of weird stuff, and heard things.

My only personal experience with a spirit was the ghost of a cat. not scary at all, lol!

Now this is a field I have some experience in...lol. I am a paranormal investigator with a group in San Antonio called After Dark Paranormal Research. We do a lot of home investigations and each of us has had many experiences ourselves through the years. My first experience happened about 5 years after my little brother passed away. My baby sister was two years old (born three years after he passed away) and had never even heard his name mentioned and knew absolutely nothing about him because she was still too young to understand that she had an older brother who passed before she was born. Anyway when she was about two years old, my step father and I were home with her and she was in the playroom (what WAS my brother's nursery before he passed) talking and giggling to something unseen. Curious we watched her for a little while before asking her what she was doing. With the most confused look on her face (as though we should KNOW what she was doing) she said, "I'm talking to Shawn." (My little brother's name was Shawn).

After that the activity increased in the house with simple, playful things. You would look for something that should typically be in one place and search the house through and not find it only to discover it a week or so later in the very first place you ever looked. I am significantly older than all of my younger siblings so I was driving by this point and would often go looking for my keys on the key rack and find them missing and then later find them someplace I would never dream of putting them (i.e. the vegetable drawer, on top of the fridge, in a bathroom cabinet, etc.).

Ghosts don't actually exist, sorry. But the energy of previous people who have died in the house does still exist, because energy is like mass, it is neither created nor destroyed. The belief that you see this ghost is a mind trick from the energy and your senses. If anyone has died in your house, you could have this happen. Check your house's history, from previous owners and/or reports.

ok in my old neighborhood there was this house at the end of the road, everytime i would pass i would see a bloody hand in the window( no joke). It was really freaky. One halloween night the house caught fire ( no one had lived there for 10 yrs) after they put the fire out, and later went to clean up the mess they found 2 dead bodies that had been buried under the house. * to this day no one knows what caused the fire*

My father passed away about 1 year ago. Hours before he died the fire alarms went off in the Hospice that he was at for no apparent reason. Since that day I have lived in three different homes (long story). Every single house that I have lived the fire alarms have gone off for no reason. No one was cooking, no smoke, and everytime around the same times (1) when the smoke alarms went off at the Hospice and (2) the time of his death.

One time I was at the kitchen sink washing dishes and I felt someone tap my shoulder twice. I turned around and no one was there. A few seconds later it happened again. I asked my mom who was in the next room if she touched me and she said, no. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

One night I was sleeping and I awoke in the middle of the night and seen someone across my room kneeling on one knee. I asked them who they were and they just vanished.

I still remember what she looked like (it was a girl).

well one night my wife and i got up to raid the fridge, and as we were standing side by side looking in the fridge my wife jumped and looked at me and said why did you do that,, i said do what,, she said throw that loaf of bread at me,, i said how can i do that when i am standing right next to you and the bread box is across the kithcen on the counter 15 ft away, but there was the loaf on the floor behind her, it hit her in the back,, have yet to figure that out
