I met mine while married. I was miserable in my marriage and talked into going to a local goth club by my husband and friends.
We got there and I was bored. I was just sitting at the table, staring into space. I turned to say something to my friend and he was talking to the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. It was love at first sight. I asked my friend to introduce us and we chatted a bit. My husband ended up messing around with another woman and I caught him. I was already trying to leave since it was by far not the first time he cheated and he gave me another reason that night.

The gorgeous guy ended up giving us a ride home since the friends we came with left early. I made him breakfast because it was 4 am and he drove an hour in the opposite direction from his home to be kind, so the least I could do was feed him. Within a couple weeks, I told the husband things were over and that he had blown his last chance and accepted a date with that most gorgeous man.

We have been together for 7 years, married for 4 years and he is helping raise my two daughters from my first marriage as well as the little boy we had together.

I can still see clearly the way he looked when he first turned to me to be introduced. I still love him, more and more each day.

I met my boyfriend through eharmony.com. I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but it's the truth. I was dating one guy that was really nice and a great guy--until he told me that he had forgot to mention a couple of things. First off, it slipped his mind to tell me that he was still married. He also forgot to mention he had three children and one grandchild. Well, to say the least, the relationship was over. I took a chance and got on eharmony just to see if anything could come of it. This was back in January. We talked through eharmony for a couple of days, then we called one another. Our first phone conversation lasted 4 minute shy of 8 hours. We never found a dull moment. We never had a moment where we didn't have something to talk about. I love him so much. The relationship is awesome. We are so compatible, and it's just amazing. We are living together now and planning marriage. I finally found my soulmate. :-)

Wow this is freaky - I was going to ask the exact same question and then I found yours! :-)

I met my boyfriend on this site http://www.datetheuk.com

I had just broken up with my (ex) boyfriend, and was curious so I had a look and we got chatting! I then got back with my ex boyfriend (silly me!) so I cut off all contact with my internet friend....

6 months on, my (ex) boyfriend cheated on me and I dumped him. I had always thought about my internet friend and wondered if it was really possible that such a sweet man could be for real....

Anyway, a few weeks later I decided to text him and see how he was. It turns out that he'd dropped his phone down a toilet (!) and lost my number. If I hadn't text him on that day, he would never have been able to get in touch with me. We like to think that it's fate!

We texted and chatted on the phone and online for a month. One night we had a conversation on the phone for 12 hours and he played me a song called Mercury, by a band called Lowgold. He asked me to guess the name of the song, thinking I wouldn't get it because none of his friends did, and I got it straight away. He says that was the moment he knew we had something special!

3 years on we are still together! I am about to finish Uni and we are going to live together. We still listen to Lowgold, and we still make each other guess songs and bands. It's our little game. We both love music. We have a 2 year old hamster and a 10 month old kitten to show for our relationship, and this is us:

Hope that answers your question! Hehe!

How did you meet yours?

I met my boyfriend (now husband) when I was 15 years old. We were in a department store and he was going up one escalator as I was going down the other. We made eye contact and I fancied him straight away. He came looking for me and found me about half an hour later. We arranged to meet up that evening and well, the rest is history. We have been married a long time and I still fancy him by the way and I tell him that he still fancies me ! ! ! ! ! ! ! (Corny I know).

I met mine on a forum, we'd talked for a month or so, and I really liked him, he asked me out one night, met up in real life (which I was actually going to make up some excuse for as it was my first time ever meeting anyone online but something told me to meet him) and we've been together a year and 7 months so far!

I actually met the girl i'm with now (A) while i was waiting for a date with ANOTHER girl (who i liked, B). Needless to say, Girl A was a no-show, and Girl B and I started talking.

It was cool, because now Girl A is all but out of my life (good thing; i found out she's a whiner and a complainer who always contradicts herself...). This is from A's blog: "I want it all to end..." one week, then the next week, "I don't want it to end, yet I can't believe it's over..."

Girl B is now the love of my life, and we'll be married soon.

I met my bf at a choral group we both sing with. I pulled in, blasting music as usual, and he came outside to see what the racket was and said "nice music", and smiled. Over the weeks leading up to the concert, he would come over by me during breaks, and I just couldn't stop looking at him from across the room. I caught him looking at me too on occasion. Finally on the night of the concert, I had got up the courage to give him my number. He called that night.
