There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Dark circles are caused by lack of sleep etc. However I have this problem even though I get loads of sleep. the reason for this is because the skin under your eyes is the thinnest of all. The dark circles are the capiliaries and blood underneath. There is no way of getting rid of this permanantly as far as I know. I know of no natural remedies but I have found that simple regenerative plus eye cream is definitely the best on the market and if used religiously morning and night will definietely reduce this.

Culumber or tea bag. Lay either of them on your eye under for at least 15 mins. Don't get juice in your eye, it stings! mineral makeup mash culumber in use witch hazel (optional) mix all together but make sure mineral makeup is your color that match eye under. It should at least stop dark circle or lighten it up.

I've done this thing where you get tea bags and soak them in warm water for a while and then keep them on your eyes for 30 minutes...It works! For about 2 days. I think you can use any tea too, but green tea works best. Good Luck!

used tea bags, slices of cucumber or cotton dipped in cucumber juice, potato slice, anti UV rays glasses, simple yoga exercises.. one of them is jus rub yr hands for some seconds and place yr palm on yr eyes. do not press them! but nothing can beat good sleep and less tension.
