Me and my girlfriend had sex once and we r both 14. Is that 2 young?

I used a condom and she wouldn't have gotten pregnant anyway because she told me she had her period a day b4 so it's extremly unlikely. So I didn't think that it was that risky either. Plus I've been going out with her for to years and I don't care what anyone else says because I am 100% sure that I love her. People say that I'm 2 young to know what love even is but I know that this is it. So y is everyone telling me its wrong.

Dude, stop having sex and be a kid. Do things that 14 year olds should do! Go play video games, go to a movie, hang out with your friends! What would happen if you were to get her pregnant?? You're life would be over at 14! and your not even old enough to get a job to make money in the event that that would happen. Stop trying to grow up so fast and enjoy being a kid while you can.

I don't doubt your affections for your girlfriend. I think you can absolutely love someone at that age, but I do think it's too young to be having sex. Just your knowledge about the risks of pregnancy alone should tell you that. It really doesn't matter if she had her period a day before or not; she could still get pregnant. A girl can get pregnant any day of the month, even during her period. It's less likely, but it's certainly possible.

Please think about the risks and consequences a little more and if you really want to continue having sex, at least do some research on the risks of pregnancy and the best protection for both of you.

Well, think about it this way.

Our emotions are basically chemical and hormonal responses to things.

As far as that goes, what you are feeling may well be the same as what an adult who is in love feels.

That is not what people mean when they say you are too young to know what love is, because honestly, noone really knows much about love.

The reason they say you are too young is because, being still in the middle of puberty, your hormones are out of whack. Within a few years, you are essentially going to be a completely different person, and those hormones that make you feel this way or that way are going to be completely different. It's very rare for feelings like this to survive the hormone changes through the duration of puberty.

Regardless, I think that sex at 14 is too young, if only because your bodies aren't done developing yet.

You are too young. The hardest thing about being that young is you don't even realize how young you really are. I know you think you know everything but you have barely begun life.

I would never someone that they don't know what love is, I'm 28 and what I feel is love is the same as when I was 12, I know it when I feel it. The only thing that has changed is I have met so many more people, learned so much more about life, the world is much bigger than you could ever know, you don't want to do something that limits your options for the rest of your life.

Well I agree, it is young, and you need to be very careful. People are saying it is wrong because when you are young and in love, nothing can stop that, and if you become intimate with each other, it has a tendancy of making people get attached to one another. But once you get older, you or her might change, and you might grow apart, but one of you might get your feelings hurt because you were each other's "firsts" and there might be some regret, because you got attached at such a young age. Am I making sense? Well anyway, I do agree that it is too young, but there is nothing you can do to change that now, so continue to be careful, us precautions, and please, please wait until you are older to use it without the condom. You are too young to be a father.

but she could get pregnant any time of the month after or before her period does not matter

and Love does not have an age limit or w/e cause once again just cause som1's older doesnt mean they know better than you its not like they know how you feel about each other Hope this helped

It is absolutely wrong. Trust me, been there, done that. I got pregnant in high school - with a condom. It's not worth it. If you love her so much then respect her enough to wait until you are old enough to take care of the baby you might create no matter what protection you use!

well, i dont think there is an age limit for having sex. if you feel it's right then do it. HOWEVER,...if your just having sex because of all the social pressure (which in your case,seems HIGHLY likely) then that's just pathetic. You say you love her, and i definitly believe that. can you picture yourself married to her? having kids with her?...can you also picture yourself going to a different college than her?...living in different areas (until marriage of course)...consider all of that. Beware, having a kid at a young age is not a pleasant experience, i dont want to sounds cynical...but a few of my friends are "suffering" the consequences....o sure they love their child, but they cant go to college..and its a HUGE burden for the parents (grandparents in this case) plus you have to give up your dreams....so anywayz,if u choose to have sex do it..do it wisely..but of course..waiting is always better. but i can't tell u what to do or not...this is just an opinion

Yes! you are too young. Wait till you hit your 20's you are going to see a whole new world! and so is your girlfriend. You say you are in love and she is the one, you have not yet enjoy what this world and life has to offer..glad to hear you used condoms at least you are thinking sensible with your head.
