A way to tell somebody that he/she/they are welcome in your home-house-life.
In fact, many times, when people are talking, they could say things like: Tengo que ir a mi casa, "tu casa", por unos papeles : I have to go to my home, "your home" for some papers.
Also, when somebody arrives to our house, we say things like: Siéntete cómodo, estás en tu casa, (feel free, you are in your house/home).

It should be "mi casa es tu casa" - my home is your home - it's the traditional Spanish way of saying "make yourself at home"
