Why dosen"t God just exhibit himself in such a blatant way that people would have to believe he exists?

Why don't you realize that God doesn't need you to believe in Him/Her. God will exist, and so will everything else, when you are dead.
You are so small and minute compared to the world, and 98% of the world believes in God anyway. So why would God do this for you? You don't even have faith or trust in Him/Her to ask such a question.

The reason God doesn't "just exhibit himself" is because sinful men can never peer into the face of God and survive. Furthermore, people are arrogant and proud by nature and would just come up with an alternative conclusion, rather than just accepting that it was God. And as for the spectacular miracle, the pharisees during Jesus' time asked Him the same thing and He told them "a sinful and wicked generation seek a sign". God has given men an abundance of evidence to prove He exists, so much so that Psalm 14:1 says: "the fool has said in his heart there is no God". All around us evidence abounds, only a blind man or a fool will try to deny that.

I asked that same question when I was really young. All I can say to you is "get ready". You are asking God to appear to you openly by just talking about it. Possibly you will ask God to appear to you while in prayer. It will happen and you will sense that you are on some sort of path as you are maneuvered for God's divine purpose. Everything that seemed so impossible will become possible if you follow the leads. When you get those feelings then you will find yourself living by faith. That is when the miracles start to happen. That is when the spirit of God will be present. You won't have to see any thing that can be discounted. Instead you will experience something that nobody will ever be able to talk you out of until it happens to them.

God does do spectacular miracles. I broke my back and I saw the x-ray of the shattered bone. I then when home and had my church pray for me. The doctor told me I wouldn't be able to move the same, and that I would have a back brace on for at least 6 months. I didn't ware the back brace and I went back to the doctor a month later and the couldn't figure out where my back had been broken before. The two xrays next to eachother looked totally different.

God doesn't miracles, but he is not a performer. He doesn't do it to make people turn to him. he wants them first then he does miracles.

Because so Fixed are the minds and opinions of some people ( religious or otherwise ) that all and any alternative possibilities are never even given a chance... so even if a miracle happens, these people won't be able to see it...

It is like a Scientist who already has his own answers and opinions, therefore any research done will not be in Discovery but will be towards forcing, composing and fabricating weak theories to get an answer to be correct

How much more do you want He created the Earth and the entire universe. Do you need drama to go with it???? God sent His only Son to die for you and me. He had victory over death when He arose from the grave. Is this NOt enough Drama. Archeaologist find new evidence everyday that the Bible is real, is that not enough scientific proof.

Here is are verses from the Bible for you.

1 Corinthians 1:22-29 KJV
(22) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
(23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
(24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
(25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
(26) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
(27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
(29) That no flesh should glory in his presence.

He's God. He doen't have to prove himself to anybody. He's already done great works in the past and they're written in the Bible. There were even people back then who didn't believe, so why would people start believing now if he did some miracles today. Fact is, people believe what they want to believe. Some people don't want to believe in God, so they don't.

It is because of your unbelief...Even Christ Himself could not do many miracles because of the people's unbelief and lack of faith but if you walk to the contrary, you shall not only see the miracles but God will work through you to do them..Read Mark 16:15-21 John 14:12

He does but people never see it. Seriously speaking he performs miracles all the time but people call them coincidences. And in this generation no one has enough faith in him to make a miracle work. I have seen things I can't even explain and I started going to church to disprove these things I used to never believe in. But one thing I know is my life is a living miracle.

As hard as it is for people to understand, it ain't about you and making it easy for you! There is nothing easy about being humiliated, spit upon, beaten with a whip so severely that your flesh hangs off of you, getting nails in your wrists and ankles, with a crown of thorns pierced down around your head while your blood is being shed as you hang upon a cross for another's ( your's and mine ) sins! No, He won't and He doesn't have to give you another revelation. He has done more than enough!
