Did God create Evil? Hmmmmm.
This will make you think for a while.
At a certain college there was a professor with a reputation for being tough on Christians. At the first class, every semester, he asked if anyone was a Christian and
proceeded to degrade them and to mock their statement of faith. One semester, he asked the question and a young man raised his hand.
The professor asked, "Did God make everything young man?" He replied "Yes sir he did!" The professor responded,! "IF God made everything, then he made evil"
The student didn't have a response and the professor was happy to once again prove the Christian faith to be a myth.
Then another man raised his hand and asked, "May I ask you something, sir?" "Yes, you may," responded the professor.
The young man stood up and said, "Sir, is there such a thing as cold?" Of course there is, what kind of a question is that? Haven't you ever been cold?" The young man replied, "Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist. What we consider to be cold, is really an absence of heat. Absolute zero is when there is absolutely no heat, but cold does not really exist. We have only created that term to describe how we feel when heat is not there."
The young man continued, Sir, is there such a thing as dark?" Once again the professor responded, "Of course there is."And once again, the student replied, "Actually, sir, darkness does not exist. Darkness is really only the absence of light. Darkness is only a term developed to describe what happens when there is no light present."
Finally, the young man asked, "Sir, is there such a thing as evil?"The professor responded, "Of course, we have rapes, murders and violence everywhere in the world, Those things are evil." The student replied, "Actually, sir, evil does not exist. Evil is simply the ABSENCE of God. Evil is a term developed to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. It isn't like truth, or love which exist as virtues like heat or light. Evil is simply the state where God is not present, like cold without heat, or darkness without light."
The professor had nothing to say................ Neither do you!
Be full of Christ today, there is no room for anything else . .

Any creation outside of God will be imperfect by its very nature. Only God is infinitely perfect. One gift of God is the ability to choose, yes, free will. If God is going to give a creature that essentially good power, He certainly knows that the creature may choose this or that, good or evil. That is not God's fault nor is God to blame for a creature's choice. If I am looking out of a fifth floor window and see two autos coming done perpendicular streets at a similar rate of speed, I might very well know that those two cars will crash into each other. Because I know that, does not mean that I will it to happen when it happens. Knowledge and will are quite different.
Free will is a gift of excellence, a higher gift than that of instinct or of an automaton. There is a certain degree of perfection when one with free will chooses the good and avoids the evil. However, inherent in that gift, is the possibility that one might choose selfishness, greed, power, etc at any cost, even the cost of not choosing good. So, the rest of us can suffer because of that. The misuse of the epitome of human power does not vitiate the sublimity of that power. Is it not a better thing that a child, for example, willing shares toys or goodies with another rather than being forced to do it or having no choice to do it?
The universe by its very creation is subject to "natural laws" -- e.g., gravity. Scientists have discovered many and will learn about more. That is simply the nature of things. Because that nature takes its course is not to blame God; that nature is inherent in the very creation of this universe. It cannot be any other way.

No excuses. God doesn't make mistakes, and Lucifer's fall was not a mistake or a misjudgment or unintentional on God's part. All that God has wrought has been for the purpose of making His grace known. If Lucifer had not fallen, there'd be no evil, thus nothing to forgive, hence no need for grace. Lucifer was created to be cast out, to introduce sin to mankind, and he's done a wonderful job of doing exactly what God created him to do. Mistake? Oh, no, but rather one of God's most overwhelming successes, since the Devil (as he's now known) persues his purpose with passion and diligence. Would that God could get similar results with everyone else He created.

God chooses what is right or wrong, because without him there is nothing.
You used a logical fallacy. You made a condition, then made a statement inherently contradictory to your condition. (God is perfect so he can't make anything evil) The correct answer actually is "God can do anything"
Why can't he create something that is evil even though he is not?
The way I have always interpreted evil, is that God delineates good and evil so that we have the opportunity to show love...therefore, for God himself there is no good nor evil, but for us there is.
This also may seem like a copout, but perhaps our feeble minds cannot grasp it all, and we were created purposely to NOT be able to see that ALL things (no matter how evil they may seem to us) work together for ultimate good (according to his will)

I evil were not created than how would we know what good is? God created it for a purpose and that purpose is that we have the free will to choose a side and a behavior, we were not made to be like robots.

Devil took his path - his decision
and his punishment - this is justice
don't try to find faults in God!
you ll never be able to
cause above all
God Is Perfect

This is what I learned! God created an angel, named Lucifer.Lucifer was suppose to be God"s right hand.Lucifer was very beautiful, his beauty was unimaginable.Lucifer, began to harbor pride,he began to believe he was better than God.Lucifer turned on God,his creator thinking he could run the world. That is why PRIDE is the only sin that is unforgiven.I just want you to know that God is perfect. He did not create us to be perfect, including,Lucifer. God is the only one that is suppose to be perfect. I hope this helped.

PICK ME, PICK ME!!! I KNOW THIS ONE!
Okay, so: God is Perfect, good, etc. etc.
Well, WE have free will. We can create, too. Things were perfect, until we inhabited the human body. We created negativity because God basically said: If you do not listen, you will learn. So, we didn't, we f'd up and that's how negativity and evil came about. WE started the cycle. And, WE have to clean it up. God gave us the substance and gave us the earth to rule. Well, we took that substance and made it evil, negative.
God is not evil, god created us, we created evil.

evil is a perversion of that which is right ... did God know what would happen .. yeah i think so ... and the devil is doing what God knew He would do .. i believe that to ... and i think ur analysis is wrong about the perfect creation ... somthing created with the ability to choose could be created in perfection ... just knowing the future of it doesnt mean u influenced it ...

Because God being good implies giving mankind free will and the ability to decide right from wrong. Just because God has foreknowledge does not mean he forces people into anything, he just allowed it to happen because of his goodness to let people to decide their own fate.
example
If a man forced a woman to marry him this is not love.
So why do you expect God to force people to do right?
