deport the legal citizens who were born into their citizenship but not only do they not appreciate the freedoms that they have here, but also do nothing but sit around and complain about how they hate everything about this country? They didn't have to do squat except to be born to get their legal status, so why don't we just deport the worthless scumbags to Mexico so that they really have something to complain about? Plus, that will make room for more immigrants who appreciate what we have here to come.

Mark- There's nothing I don't understand about the word "illegal", but I know a double-standard when I see one. You seem to be implying that as long as someone is a legal citizen of this country they can commit whatever atrocity they please. People like you think it's O.K. to cheat on your taxes or live on Welfare when you don't need to, but God forbid someone who didn't have the luxury of being born into their citizenship even so much as takes a grape from a grocery store because you'll jump on that in a heartbeat.

I'm not going to talk about the Citizens, those are the legal Americans with all the rights since they were born.... But I can tell you one thing... I just hate the disrespect to all the "Illegal Inmigrants", they are not here because they like to be mistrated and persuit by any law... they are here because in their countrys they didn't have anything to eat and no future for their families, If you were born here, I'm sorry but you would never know what I'm talking about.
I only hate that the law is deporting PPL that is working (for far less money that the legal PPL and no because they want to "steal your job" but because is that or nothing), but all the Illegal that are comiting crimes and making the streets their playground... those never get caught because they don't work. THOSE are the ones that should be prosecuted and deported.
If you give a working illegal the chance to become Legal they will take it... even if that cost them a whole year of salary.
Don't you forget that there is a whole world out there that suffers "REAL" problems, and I'm not talking about that they need to do some overtime this year to get the car of their dreams or get extra money to remodel the bathroom that is 4 years old already... they have to work 3 different places just to feed their familys and forget about vacation or getting dress with new clothes (that happend once a year on christmas), is too much to explain, but you'll be more than welcome to live in their soils... is just a simple paper work.
Third world countries do exist and really good people do live there, sadly all fall in the same bag here "ILLEGALS".
I'm a legal resident becoming a citizen this year and all I have to say is Thank you for the opportunity to live a life. I acomplish here in 4 years more than I did in my country in 16 years of hard work in 3 different jobs... I'll never regret leaving my country.

Sounds like a interesting idea. The only problem is that a lot of these immigrants don't respect the country. For example: ESL in grade school. Drivers license exams in Spanish. 4 families living in one house and each claiming food stamp benefits while driving Escalades. The ones who send their money to support the Mexican economy and not the American economy. I can go on and on.
I do agree that a lot of birth right citizens don't appreciate what we have either. However they are citizens and have that right. As sad as it is, it is a right to bad mouth America - but you better be a citizen before you try to exercises that right.

First question is.What doesnt anyone understand about illegal? Its against the law. Deport them. I think what you really should have said was.....That people are sick of the whiners and the freeloaders. Lets look at this 2 ways.....First for all those individuals who have another name in front of American. They have the best of both worlds......Because if they dont like it here. They can hit it back to where ever the name in front of American is. As for the rest. Lets just give them a 15 minute lesson on how to parrachute.Give them a parrachute,a crisp 5 doller bill. Then drop them in whatever country they choose. Go apply for your BENIFITS there.....

Most Americans hate what has become of their country due to illegal aliens and an uncaring government. Most of us work our butts off to provide a good life to our families while we see people breaking the law and getting things handed to them. I think we have a right to complain about what we have worked so hard for being destroyed. Just because someone is given citizenship by being born here doesn't mean we don't pay for the privelidge. We are forced to pay taxes etc. because we are citizens so it doesn't come without a price.

I do agree that there are citizens of the US who don't deserve to live here, but I DO NOT agree that complacency is patriotism. I love my country, and I show respect by abiding by its laws, which I think, for the most part are just and fair. But being a "good American" doesn't mean just going along with current White House policy, or any law, policy, or cultural phenomenon that is unfair or unethical. It means acting to make your country a better place for everyone. For me, that means making viable legal alternatives for immigration, and treating immigrants, regardless of their ethnic background, with respect.

Constitutionally, that would require some sort of trial for each such citizen. After creating some sort of bizarre law forbidding un-American activities, like bitching about your country, and making the penalty loss of citizenship and deportation.

A lot is being said about illegal aliens and, although I agree we should filter to some degree who comes into the US, it is hard for me to fault someone trying to make a better life for themselves. You know, God had a lot to say throughout the Bible about looking after 3 segments of society: widows, orphans, and the foreigner (or alien).

Send the illegals back. They are criminals. A citizen of this country has the right to complain all they want. Freedom so speech. A US citizen is a citizen no matter what. They don't get deported. Illegals are illegal. Send them home!

We have quite a few legal immigrants on the list, so I think they should be given the vacant slots. The illegals still have to go.

I think we should have amnesty. C'mon people! We have room, these people work hard, and what would you do if you were faced with extreme poverty and no work in your home country? For the most part, immigrants from Mexico and other parts of Latin America are hard-working, good people. And like I really think Americans are going to do the back-breaking work these people do for pennies. I just hate how so many Americans are so hateful to these people and so nationalistic. It's really ugly - just look at the comments to your post.
