He peed on the kitchen floor while he was barking franticly at a man at the back door, so I thought it was because he was scared.
But then the very next day when he saw my brother-in-law, he peed on him while he was in his lap being pet....
So now I'm confused why he has these accidents. First I thought it was because he was scared, but now I'm not so sure.
Could a bladder infection cause this behaivior???
why is this happening to him???
I don't think it's something he can controll....

It could be one of three things. Either he has developed submissive peeing habits, he has gotten a bladder infection or is having problems with his bladder sphincter due to weakness of the muscle or an enlarging prostate. I suggest that you take him to the vet and have them do a urinalysis on him. They will check for bacteria as well as run a few other tests on it. If it is in fact an infection he will be put on antibiotics, the only cure, and he will be fine. If he doesn't have an infection it may be that the muscle that controls his bladder has weakened or the prostate has enlarged and that is something that the vet will be able to help you with. If it's neither of these things it's submissive urination and the best way to fix that is to ignore him until he has calmed down. I don't really think it's submissive urination based on his age but it could be. The best thing you can do is take him to the vet and have him examined. Good luck

It's time to go to the vet. Yes, this means spend money.

He could have a bladder infection - or some other problem - such as bladder stones or some other urinary tract problem. THe only way to be sure is go to the vets.

Dogs get UTI's just like people - from not drinking enough water, or something in his food. Sometimes it's because the fur on his "pee-pee" is long and urine and then dirt mix into it - which allow bacteria to get into his urinary tract.

So go to the vet's and then make sure his "pee-pee" is clipped and cleaned.

I would suggest taking him to the vet. A vet is the only one who could tell you for sure.
As some of your other answers could be this or that. the vet should be able to do a urine sample and other checkup type things to determine exactly what it is. Please dont' try to treat something like thei yourself.
wish you luck and hope it's something simple
