It has happened to me. lol. I usually have food in front of me at the time and claim to be working/playing on the comp while on my lunch break. My boss would rather me be somewhat productive than not productive at all.

The best thing to do is tell the truth to your boss. Say I posted a question to a personal problem that has been bothering me, and affecting my life I just needed to see if there was any advice to help with it, apologize for the error, promise not to (and don't) do it again. Should be no problem

Were you researching a question for work on Answers? If so, I'd frame as how resourceful you are in investigating solutions for your work. It's all in the positioning.
