I prefer both the drunken rant and questions presented in a serious tone. If there is no good and bad as reference points to make comparisons then how can someone measure the quality of good and the quality of bad? We need a standard, just like there are standards in physics for units of measurement. We should put the most evil person in the world in a cage and the most holy person in a cage next to him/her then observe, as good scientists do, their reactions to different movies on TV. Hey, professor, is that a good thesis project?

I like the people that are actually serious that come off as a drunken rant.

It's hard to beat a good rant. Now, mind you, a quip or two can be quite nice as well. As for serious, well let's say thoughtful and serious is a good thing, and incredibly thick and serious is a bad thing.

Lately the "serious" questions are all the same pre-programmed christian questions (i.e. if we evolved from monkeys why are there still monkeys or why are there atheists in R&S)... so at this point in time i prefer the comedy, but i do enjoy a nice serious question if it hasn't been asked previously.

I like the serious ones. There are people on here who really want a better explanation than the ones they have heard thus far.

I don't mind either one... it's just annoying when someone is claiming to be serious while saying things like "dinos and people walked together... dinos were on noahs ark"... then I just wish someone would get that person drunk, in hopes that it will make them see some sense. It couldn't hurt....

Serious questions. This is not the Jokes section. If people want to hone their comedic skills, there are clubs for that.
