When people say they hear God, they are really only listening to their own voice in their head.

Read Jaynes "Bicameral Mind." It's been out of fashion for 3,000 years or so since our brains evolved to stop listening for voices.

Technically, if you believe in God, his/her voice is all around us, all we have to do is listen.

HIS voice is your inner voice telling you the right thing. It's like your concious. Ppl that belive in GOD know it's him. Whereas, ppl that dont have the HOLY SPIRIT say its your concious.
