Perhaps a major such as Pharmaceutical marketing and management which is offered thru the University of Sciences/Philadelphia. I have never been to the college, but I believe that it has a good reputation. I went to this website, www.utexas.edu/world/univ which has US colleges and universities.
University of the Sciences/Philadelphia, PA: www.usip.edu/
Just a P.S. Please do Not enroll in any of those 'online schools' such as university of phoenix, strayer university, Devry U or Kaplan U as employers don't really consider those places of learning to be reputable.

Consider a major in general business with an emphasis on finance. Add a minor in computer science to obtain an appreciation of systems and the processing or in the life science portion.
The nice part about the finance background is that it generally spans many industries.

Many of the people in the business aspect have both a Dr. of pharmacy degree (PharmD) and an MBA. A friend of mine recently completed his MBA and is now working as a pharmacist in managed care. It is a lot of school, but the money is fantastic. He's trying to convince me to do the same thing, but I think I'll stop at the PharmD ; ).
