What an interesting question! Different traditions within the Christian faith will have a different perspective. One is that Christ is God made flesh (John 1:1) and that Christ existed as part of the triune God. There are differing beliefs on if Christ maintained his Deity as a human; traditional belief has stated that Jesus was 100% human and 100% God.
Within that concept it is understood that Jesus was God made flesh and He refers to Himself as the Son of God to identify His place within the trinity in relation to the Godhead.
Old school gnostics believed that Christ was 100% God and 0% flesh and that the death on the cross was an illusion to the truth... somehow. I don't quite get that one, sorry I can't be of much help to you there.
Others believe that Jesus was 100% human but that He shed his diety when He became flesh and point to Paul's statement that "Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be grasped."
In all of these it is important to understand the concept of Trinity. God does not exist as we do in singular form. He is too much, too grand to exist in just one aspect and subsequently exists in three (Father, Sprit, Son) allthewhile maintaining the identity of being one. From that concept, Christians don't have a problem with one aspect of God being called the Son of God or God made flesh and dying on the cross. Moreover, it's not difficult to believe that God could die in one aspect while another aspect could raise the first from the dead.
I also want to point out that there are Christians who don't believe in the Trinity but maintain that there is one God who takes different forms at different times. I'm not as familiar with the logistics of Christ's life and death in this tradition, but I'm sure you could find more information on it online.
I personally have no problem with God existing in three forms or aspects all at one time. He is pretty big and all encompassing (and there's a lot out there to encompas!) In the end, most Christians don't understand Christ as God's progeny but as an aspect of God.

don't recognize ways this scripture shows God is Jesus or visa versa? God I's with Jesus in helping him in his artwork on earth, with him by utilising giving him his ability to accomplish miracles. Jesus I's no longer God it I's no longer taught interior the bible, in case you have a Bible study John a million:18 it states there no person has seen God at any time, human beings have seen Jesus returned whilst he replaced into in the international. Now study John 17:3 Jesus prayed "this suggests eternal existence there taking in understanding of you the only real God, and the only you despatched forth Jesus Christ" so Jesus no longer bearing on himself because of the fact the real God yet his Father in heaven. speaking of two distinctive persons.

The ancient answer of the faith is:
Jesus is God, The Father is God, The Holy Spirit is God.
Even while, the Son is not the Father. The Father is not the Son. The Son is not the Holy Spirit.

no, everytime you read the Word "God" in the NT that is 238 times you see is talking about the almighty Father not about Jesus that is the first of the sons of God in heaven.
The majority of people don´t know that before the creation of humans God almighty was in heaven with his sons, (Job 38:4-7) all angels are sons of God (Job 1:6 and 2:1)
And Jesus is the first of that sons according to Colossains 1:15-17.
Read the bible and you will find out that.

IF Jesus was almighty god, then obviously if a=b, b=a. However, Jesus is always called the Son of God, never God himself. having said that, although ONLY ONE god could be ALMIGHTY, Jesus is referred to as MIGHTY God in the Psalms, and is called A GOD in John 1 verse 1, according to the translation judged most accurate in the book Truth in Translation.
Of course, as the scriptures say in 1st Corinthians chapter 8, just as there are many gods and many lords, there is actually to us one God the Father, .........and one lord, Jesus Christ.."
I realise that many sincerely believe that Jesus is God, and I respect their views, but cannot agree, because of the scriptures.
The Bible says God resurrected Jesus on the third day. Without trying to be sarcastic, I find it hard to see how someone who is dead could resurrect themselves.
Also when Jesus prayed to his father, does it make sense to say he prayed to himself?
I recommend reading the gospels carefully andprayerfully, in a good honest translation such as theNew World Translation, available without charge (you can make a small donation of course if you want) from Jehovah's Witnesses.
I hope you persevere and find thetruth, which is not self contradictory, but very simple and straight forward, i.e., Jesus is the son of God. God. God is the Father of Jesus.

Imagine you were a giant and there were lots of ants below you .... how do you make them notice you? ... You send an ant to tell them about you!
This is what the Heavenly Father did! He sent Jesus (his son) to tell people about him!
There is also another part of God. The Holy Spirit. This is the spirit of God. He lives in you and guide you in your everyday life!
You see God is three in one, Father, Spirit, Son!

I don't really understand it all
I think Jesus is God's son...and so there's a bit of God in Jesus?
like DNA??
Or maybe its just like representive of a Son
I dont know- I find the trinity hard to understand.
Well I dont think we're meant to understand it all. We're just humans. But I believe he was more than a prophet, in my view.
