i've been in love with my best friend from the moment i met her at uni two years ago, however i've always been too shy to let her know. i've wanted to, but i've always bottled it at the last moment. Trouble is she's about to go to argentina for a year as part of her degree and she leaves in three weeks. She means the world to me and i can't loose her but have i left it too late to tell her the truth? if so is there any other way i can stop her from going? Please help!

you shouldn't try to stop her from going if it's part of her degree. but you should definitely tell her the truth about how you feel. the timing isn't that great, but it's better to tell her now than to tell her a year from now.

No you can't not try and make her stay. You are depriving her from her future. You would be selfish if you do hold her back. You should however tell her how you feel and maybe if you truely are meant to be, have the best 3 weeks you can possibly have in your life. 1 year is really not a long time especially when you really care for one another. So go for it. Think about it this way, if things don't work out you will not see each other for a year anyway by that time your feelings towards her will probably fade anyway.

Good luck...

i dont think it's late at all to tell her how you feel.
but im not sure if anything will stop her from going,
it's only three weeks till her departure, and at this point,
she would already have all the plans for her study in argentina.

But even though she leaves you behind,
that wouldn't necessarily mean that she doesnt like you.
you can still contact while she's away
And if she really likes you, there's gonna be something when she comes back.

Well, perhaps now isn't the best time to tell her how you feel. Wait until she returns home to confess your love. If she is worth it, (which she seems to be to you) then you can wait a little longer, no? Put her best interest first, and no... don't even think about stopping her from going, I'm sure this trip means a lot to her and she is very excited.

You could tell her you have strong feelings for her but there's not way you should expect her to chuck her plans out of the window; it obviosly means a lot to her and is part of her degree. You could tell her how you feel and then stay in contact. A year isn't really that long!

If it is part of her course to go to Argentina, you CAN'T stop her from going. Don't you think that is being selfish. Despite that, tell her how you feel and you will have to leave it up to her to take the next step.

No this is not in any respect too previous due and a minimum of you are able to say you tried. in case you do no longer you should spend something of the time questioning what issues could have been like in case you hadn't had reported it. yet regrettably, with issues like this, you will desire to be arranged for the stable, the undesirable and the unpredicted. i actually wish it is going properly for you yet remember regardless of if she would not experience the comparable experience happy with your self understanding you reported it because of the fact there are various people who missed out and not in any respect knew because of the fact they on no account did. stable good fortune.

It's never to late to tell someone you love them, if that's what's true. But sometimes love, the real kind, means letting go. You can only control what you do or say, and need to be willing to allow her to be, do, say whatever is in her heart. So, say what's in your heart and allow her to say and do what's in her heart. If you love her, be willing to let her go. Who knows, she may come back to you.

You should tell her how you feel. If you can't make her not go, just send her letters real often. Call her when of if you can, unmless she doesn't feel the same. then still send her letters and call her, just not as often. If she feels the same and you can get her to stay you know what to do! :)
