They are far safer than tanning beds and actually lying in the sun.

But some are better than others, take for example Banana Boat, they make a self-tanner that has vitamin C and a SPF added into the ingredients.

So the product not only helps develop a natural tan but also protects and nourishes your skin.

They are completely safe and healthy as long as you use a reputable brand that people have heard of. It's much, much safer than tanning out in the sun, and infinitely safer than a tanning bed.

Props to you for looking into this option instead of getting skin cancer and wrinkles from tanning out in the sun!

spray/lotion tans are definitely a healthier and safer alternative than tanning beds or sunbathing.

be sure to check the contents though if you're allergy-prone. otherwise, they're the better choice for a nice tan :)

My doctor yelled at me last year for going to the tanning bed and suggested i try spray tan instead- so I am assuming if my doctor would recommend using- it's not unheatly.

There are many natural beauty products that you can use on your skin. One way of knowing if it is good for you is to ask your self can I eat it? If the answer is no than you shouldn't put it on your skin.
