Health benefits? No. Fat Burning benefits? Sort of.
training at a relatively high intensity 80-85% of your estimated maximal heart rate (220-your age * .8 or .85) is the best way to strengthen your heart and reduce blood pressure and your chances for future heart disease.
What I would recommend is keep your high intensity cardio workouts to about 35 minutes (40 if you count a 5 minute walking cooldown) -5 minutes to warm up to your target rate and then sustain it for 30 minutes
. Do this type of workout three to four times a week---In the final analysis, your heart is your most important muscle, there is no excuse not to train it.
It is true that a higher percentage of calories burned come from bodyfat with low intensity work (as opposed to stored carbohydrate=glycogen) but the total number of calories burned is much greater with the high intensity work so this advantage is eclipsed--also only the high intensity work gives you the double benefit of burning A LOT of calories at the same time you strengthen your heart.
You can mitigate joint stress by doing low impact cardio biking, stationary bike, or the elliptical trainers at the gym- cross-train this way with your running.

They are matters that may best be learned after hundreds of thousands and hundreds of thousands of trials. And of path, strict restrict demands to be in position. However, due to the fact the groundwork of technology is consistently exchanging because of new discoveries, we have to even have sympathy to the drug corporation as good. They aren't miracle makers, they just attempt to make gains by means of promoting anything that they "believe" could aid different humans. Imagine the arena with out antibiotics and different therapy, what number of humans might must die? If we agree that technology may also be modified, the drug corporation could no longer have an excuse of growing therapy costs due to the fact of legislation go well with. Also if we appear at every other discipline that has used the socialist method it has slowed down and did not are living as much as its Utopian promise. No method is best however open and unfastened marketplace is the first-rate available in the market.

The biggest difference between them is the impact it has on your joints.Running or jogging is much harder on them then walking. The only thing about walking,is that it takes a longer period of time to burn the same amount of calories. But in order to get the heart rate up for the best cardio benefits,it has to be faster then a stroll.

walking is low impact, running is high impact, running will burn more calories in less time, but is the equivalent of someone pounding the bottoms of your feet with each step, it will throw your joints out of alignment, knees hips and even your back will be affected.
Walking burns calories slower but puts a lot less wear and tear on your body.

It all depends on your age, goals, fitness level, and time available.
If you can't run for some reason, walking is better.
If you don't have a lot of time, running wins.
