i asked this question yesterday and I guess I should have mentioned that my dog is fixed! Would be silly to leave my unfixed female outside with this goofy dog! I would have to be insane or stupid, I am neither, thank you! This is why I am really wondering what in the world this neighbor dog is thinking. My dog is only tied out occassionally. She is inside most of the time, but I do put her out from time to time. Sometimes she is loose while WITH me and other times I tie her for a while. Hope that clears up any confusion from my first question. The neighbor dog is always running around free. we live in the country. He has never been trained or taught to mind, so it really isnt his fault that he appears to be so stupid! I have asked the neighbors before to keep him contained, but they never do. He poops over here all of the time. So,I have to keep my dog on worm meds year round.

Is there a way to add pertinent left out facts to already posted questions that I have asked?

Ok ..as to not feel like I should be chastised anymore. Let me clarify..... When I tie my dog out, she is in the front yard where I can see her just a short distance from my front door! That is how I know that the neighbor dog is peeing on her in the first place. She is only tied out when I am home and usually only when i am in the yard with her. I do that because unlike my neighbor, I wam doing the responsible thing containing my dog. She is not put there for hours on end and has plenty of attention, drinking water and shade and even has companionship with my cats that I adopted as strays.

I have never heard of a dog's neck snapping from being tied out. How in the world does that happen?

Call animal control, if they are unwilling to do anything about it! If that doesn't work you'll need
Fence your property or at least where you'll be keeping your girl.
You should never ever leave a dog on a tie out unsupervised any way...
It's only asking for trouble.

No one is Chastising you just trying to enlighten you
it only takes a second for a dogs neck to snap

If a neighbor's dog came in my yard and peed/pooped on my dog I would put a leash on the neighbor dog. I would then lead the dog back to his/her owner. I would inform the owner that if this happens one more time I will put the leash on the dog again and take the dog in my car to the animal control people. I do not like others peeing or pooping on my dog or in my yard. This would be the first and last warning. Don't let it happen again. There would be no phone calls to the authorities, I would personally deliver the dog to them!!!!!!!!!

NO dog would do that to my dog........AND WHY should you have to fence in your yard to protect your dog and yourself from the neighbors?? Let the neighbors spend their money and fence their yard in......They are the ones in the wrong.

He's marking her as his property. Does not matter that she is fixed. No one told him that. He's marking her for when she comes into heat (which of course she won')

I would tell the other dogs owners they have one last chance to keep him on their property or you will be calling animal control and putting it in their hands.

fixed canines tend to make extra powerful pets average. they do no longer seem to be as pushed by employing hormonal adjustments and hormonal urges. An intact male is extra probably to %. fights with different men than a neutered male. An intact male will additionally pass nuts each and every time he even *thinks* there's a woman in warmth. Intact men are additionally extra probably to hump and mark. An intact woman is going into warmth approximately 2 cases a 365 days, no longer 4 cases. confident they do bleed for the period of that element. some women folk bleed heavier than others. warmth cycle lasts approx 21 days. you are able to desire to handle protecting her faraway from men, and additionally fending roaming men off. Do observe.. a fixed canines can nevertheless hump and mark, they're only much less probably to do it. Humping and staining at the instant are not constrained to male canines- i comprehend a superb style of ladies folk who demonstrate this behavoir too. Neutering on my own won't remedy marking. you are able to desire to coach the canines to appropriate the undertaking.. yet returned, much less complicated to coach a neutered boy, IMO, than an intact one. An altered puppy is lots much less complicated to coach and handle, considering the fact that they do no longer seem to be distracted by employing their hormones. Intact canines could make impressive pets in case you comprehend what you're doing, yet I dont reccommend it for somebody searching for a common puppy. as quickly as altered.. there is no longer lots difference in protecting a male or woman. this is a private decision. I desire male canines myself, they appear to be they have an inclination to be extra affectionate.

I would call animal control. Your neighbor is responsible for his dog and the dog is trespassing on your property.
