Use the suggestion from comedian Eddie Izzard: put the camel in blenders to make liquid camel, then squirt it in a very fine jet through the eye of a needle.

The needle is the homeowner. The camel is a stranger to the needle. Therefore, the camel cannot go through the needle until some religious idiot convinces the camel to know the needle.
Isn't god supposed to welcome in strangers? What I really want to know is why religion is basically defined on the principal of exclusion of those who do not "tow the line?"

THANK YOU for highlighting the reason it's so important to read Scripture in context. The gates of the cities in those days were large, capable of allowing whole caravans in at once. But set into those doors were small sub-doors, designed so that you could only get through them one person at a time, for use in times of war. This door was called the Eye of the Needle. You might conceivably get a small camel through, or one that has been nearly starved to death, but it was not an easy proposition. And that was the point of the statement.

If you did your research you would find the eye of a needle is what they called entrances to cities at that time and they were so small that to get thru it a camel had to kneel down and walk on it's knees and it was a very difficult task. Therefore the saying it is easier for a camel to enter thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven. That is becuase rich men usually don't want to give up their love of money to serve God therefore their money becomes their God.

That was exactly Jesus' point.
UPDATE: I have to tell those who believe that a "needle gate" existed are under a false teaching. This story was invented in the 9th (or possibly as late as the 15th) century because the church didn't want to offend the wealthy.
Jesus was using hyperbole to get His point across. Just as a camel won't fit through the eye of a needle, neither will anyone who trusts in their riches get into heaven.

the eye of the needle was a gate and at night it was closed so the camel had to crawl through a smaller door...not an easy task for the camel or the owner....thus the saying easier to get a camel through the eye of the needle....

Quit shoving it. Camels don't like anyone around their back end anymore than donkeys do. Lead it. And then when it gets to the other side, praise it and let it rest.

Use a bigger needle.
If you have one made that's 100 feet long, that camel could probably walk right through it without even ducking its head.

You do realize that the eye of a needle was a very small entrance at the gate of older biblical cities, don't you?
