I would go for the Discover Platinum Card (or Discover More Card... as it's now called). Your credit score is right on the border line of being excellent. And it seems Discover has loosened their approval guidelines as of late... because approval rates are up. You can find a complete list of Discover credit cards here:

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

You should be ok with your credit score. I have had a Discover card since the brand was invented and there are still some places that dont accept it. Apply for whatever card doesnt make you pay a fee.

The new Discover Miles Card, allows you to redeem your reward points or reward miles for any travel purchase. This is a perfectly No Hassles Miles program.
Earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend. This offer has an upper spending limit of $3,000 in restaurant and travel purchases. The limit of miles in your account has been reduced from 25,000 to 20000.
The points can also be redeemed for gift certificates. Discover has tied up with 50 merchants, this gives a lot of choice. The gifts can be redeemed in the following ways, 1,000 miles for $5 gift card, 3,500 miles for $25, 6,000 miles for $50 etc.
The Discover Miles Card allows you to use a travel agent of your choice for your travel related bookings.
The Discover Miles Card comes with no blackout dates or restrictions. The restrictions like booking 21 days in advance and staying on Saturday nights don't bother the customer anymore.
The new features added to Discover Miles Card, ensures a truly magnificent travel reward credit card experience for the frequent traveler. Read more from:http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/discover_credit_card.html

Your credit score is fine. However, for rewards (cash back, etc.) there are much better credit cards out there than any offered by Discover. For example, the AmEx Blue Cash and Citi Driver's Edge are both very good.
To quickly see which credit card will pay you the most in rewards for your normal spending profile, you can use this rewards calculator (only one out there that I know of):

Your credit score should be more than sufficient to obtain a Discover Card, but do you really want one ?
I was an excellent customer of Discover for years, nearly from the onset of the brand until they accepted my payment in full for a monthly statement (around $1500) and ran it through their system for $11,500, exactly $10,000 more than they should have.
While I understand that such horrendous errors can and do occur, Discover was quite uncooperative in returning the overpayment. Took me about three weeks to finally get through to a human who would handle it.

It really depends on what each card offers. Cash back, rewards travel, zeo liability, annual fees,etc... Without knowing the features of each card it'll be hard to recommend one over the other. Usually student cards have better features because the assumption is that well....you're a student and have limited income.
