Saving 500 calories per day either by diet or exercise is good for two pounds per week. Since you are going for more you will need to do a little more. A good hour in the gym or similar workout in addition to your normal exercise should be close to 500 calories. Eliminating liquid calories can be a good place to start on the diet. A SMALL portion of milk or juice may be good for you, but I would cut out the rest. I like meat but for some people it is a good place to at least temporarily cut back. And watch out for large portions of food.

Find a park nearby and go hiking. Especially when its hot. Start out with a 2 mile hike and definitely work your way up to an 8 mile, and do this at least every other day. This worked quite well for my friend, and he just shedded the pounds after a while. And walking on trails is much better then around a subdivision or track because it works out more muscles and is a change of scenery.

when i wanted to loose weight what you do first is cut down on your food that you eat. if you can or already do eat healty that works. but try walking an hour a day and you will start to see some results.
