YES!!! The world is going to end because the Canadian dollar is equivalent to our own.

But the two of us don't have to worry about it.

When Jesus flies down from space with his magic unicorn he'll sprinkle us with pixie dust and we'll be saved...

There's only one thing we'll have to decide on when we get to heaven:

We're supposed to get seven times what we gave to charity if I understand right. But do we ask for that in U.S. or Canadian dollars???

When I was a kid the US & Canadian $ would bounce back and forth in worth. Again in the late 80's the Canadian $ was close to even with the US $.
It is a sign of bad leadership in the US and great leadership in Canada. No way a country as populated and wealthy as the US should have a $ worth less than a Country of 35 mil.

As I understand the end times. It is all over the place. A Canadian would not consider more money "end times".
On the contrary.
The end times mentioned by the bible was when Jesus was to change the Jews from their Hebrew calender to the Roman Julian calender ,which we, and they use now. The "end times" happened a long time ago.
When a person believes he is god he does things like control time. The calender makes that possible.

Indeed. If the Kanooks get a more powerful dollar than us Armageddon is imminent!

The value of the dollar is decreasing across the board...not just with Canada.....but for fun lets ignore that....

Woe to the world if Canada takes the reigns! Woe! Woe!

Frankly, I doubt it... But if so, it won't be a first - It was around $1.07 for a long time when I was in my teens and it was considered a travesty when it fell below the US dollar during Prime Minister Diefenbaker's time.

Our Canadian dollar was then renamed the Diefendollar, or Diefenbuck.

It's been equal and worth more on several occasions in the last 50 years.
It's a sign of the US's growing reluctance to leave an unwinnable situation (Iraq and Iran) and Canada's ever booming economy.

This is certainly the sign we have been waiting for, and further proof that Bush is the antichrist. The only solution now is to attack them.
