Alcohol in moderation will not hurt you. here is an example: A person who drinks 2 beers everyday will consume 60 beers in a month will have less damage than the person who only drinks 2 days a month, but drinks 12 beers each time for a total of 24 beers in a month. What i mean is, the person who "binge" drinks is likely to cause more harm to themselves.

Well, I intake about 36-40 beers a week. The harm-full effects are there, I can guarantee it. Over time, your liver gets hit hard.as does other organs in you body.

My most harmful effect is the cost. Us old retirees have to pinch our pennies.

A couple beers a week wont hurt you and most Doctors will agree one or two drinks a day are beneficial especially red wines. Anything more than that does takes away the beneficial and adds to the bad.

beer, or alcohol of any type, is not harmful in itself...WHEN used in moderation. What you do when you drink and how much you drink are when problems arise.

however it should be noted, that if you are the type of person who can not live without one drink a week, you are considered an alcoholic, because you are becoming dependant upon that one drink to get yourself going...

My opinion, drink up, but never drink alone and never drink when already depressed. Enjoy yuourself and dont over indulge.

Beer healthy as wine. Another study, this one out of Canada, reminds beer drinkers they can reap the same health benefits from their favorite beverage as they can from red wine. Researchers at the University of Western Ontario found a drink of either beer or wine provided equal increases in plasma antioxidant activity.

6-7 beers: bordering on dangerous not good for your liver
8-9 beers: potentialy dangerous, definetly bad for your liver = problem drinking

It doesn't matter how often you drink alcoholic drinks. Even 1 drink impairs your ability to function & the more you drink, the worse your impaired. It is very dangerous. Even 1 drink can impaire you enough to where you drink more & more. Alcohol is very dangerous.
