I pay about $3.55 a gallon here in the STL, but I always have to use the premium gas cause thats what my car takes and runs better with, and it's only 20 cents more a gallon. But in regards to these prices, I call bullshlt.

I live on the East Coast of Canada, where an Imperial gallon of regular (87 octane) gas is currently $5.90 Canadian, and 91 octane is $6.35. Our gallon is bigger than your US gallon (4.54 litres vs 3.76 litres) but we are still paying way more for gas than you, our friends in the US. So, what you are paying is inexpensive! Friends of mine in the UK tell me that they have been paying over $6.00/gal for years. Gas is cheap in Venezuela, at I believe less than 10 cents/litre, or about 35 to 40 cents per US gallon.

I am in south east Michigan and we are paying 3.54 per gallon for regular unleaded. Our closest refinery shut down due to problems and now we are reportedly paying one of the highest rates in the country. Around memorial day it got up to 3.79!

well gas is $3.29 a gallon here but my husband and i found a program where we got $100 in gas cards for only $20. thats how we saved a little money on gas.. we got to choose from any gas station we wanted too. it was awesome. filling your car up can leave you broke. i hate it. but these really helped us.
