Do you think it is better to buy organic strawberries that may have been picked a couple days before peak freshness from another part of the country, or non organic local strawberries that were picked at the peak of freshness?

Non-organic doesn't bother me. Plus it would be supporting local farmers, and be fresher.

#1 I would go with the cheapest
Then if they were bad looking I would go with the better looking ones.
But if they were way off budget I would skip it and get frozen.
I am terrible with surveys, there is not always a definite answer.
