Yes? Yes! Yes, God is life, love,Joy,Happiness,Peace, Forgiveness, Faith, Hope, Charity(Agape), Brotherly Love(Philo),Godliness, Patient, Kindness, and Believes all things
The Opposite of this is all the things the Devil our accuser is Death, unhappiness,War, unforgiven, unbeliever, despair, indifference, indifference toward your brother, ungodliness, impatience, unkindness, and believes in nothing but what you can see and understand by your self. This is what Lucifer did in Heaven that caused the Fall in the beginning before time started
The Devil comes for only one purpose in your life to kill steal lie and destroy; He is your evil thoughts because they originated with him.
But actually God rejects no man, mankind rejects God and therefore do not inherit life eternal. Eternal life is a free gift but men reject the truth because of false teachers leading men to themselves rather than God, for the Love of money.

You can put it that way if you wish, but its a very simplistic way of seeing the whole picture. The absence of life doesn't mean the absence of existence. Does a rock have life? Does a river have life? Does the wind have life? Things can exist even though they are by definition lifeless. So when you die, it doesn't mean you don't exist anymore it just means you don't have life. Some part of you may still be visible to those who have life, sorta like how we can see lifeless objects like the moon, the sun, the stars.

From a scientific standpoint, life is a form of energy and energy never dies, it can transmute into something else, but it can't die. Therefore it is pretty obvious that while the energy in our body obviously leaves our body in some way or another, it has to go somewhere and that is what people continuously debate because no one can prove their ideas at true.
So to answer you question, death of the physical body is when life leaves that body, but it does not mean the life has died, only the physical body.

Yes. Life is a temporary condition, dependant on the functioning of the body. When the brain finally "dies" all of the nueroconnections that form you memories, personality, etc breakdown.

I don't believe so.
I believe once we pass and leave this earth, we continue our lives in the AfterLife, minus our outer shells which was once our bodies.
Life in the physical sense may end, but it continues on in spirit form.

All these answers are from people who have never experienced death. If you want a knowledgeable answer, it must come from someone who knows what they are talking about - someone who has experienced death and come back to tell the tale. That would be Jesus Christ. What does He say about death? That will give you the true answer if you really want to know.
