If they don't agree with a person's religion and beliefs, wouldn't it be better for everyone else if they just kept it to themselves instead of lashing out against them.

People come here because they are *really* invested in this subject, one way or another. The bigots are the ones who feel threatened by the presence of all the other ideas.

Well, not nessesarily. A boss, a teacher, or a mother, doesn't want someone to grow up a certain way, and they are showing you that they are concerned. For other people like on here. You are asking for an opinion for someone to help guide you or help you with a certain situation.
