apparently satan only "tempts" christians, because the atheists and non christians are already going to hell with him. so only the believers have to worry about satan's evil ways. this implies that he is only real if you believe in him. this also leads to thinking that god is only real if you believe in him.

It's the same as it is with Santa Claus: as long as you believe in him, he exists ;)

I hope you understand my point...

All beliefs are true to the believers until they learn new information or otherwise.
During the Bronze and Golden Ages, when silvers and metals were beginning to be smelted through alchemy process, and alchemy experimentation, for goblets, pendants, and tools, 'science' began to become structured.
Nobels and the king and queen ships enslaved many to extract these earth materials by mining and so on.
So in relation to your question about belief in a fallen Saint, and justifably a fear or disbelief of one, does in fact cause someone to question a truer godly saint, or God.
However, it is this confusion that explains why science has assisted in creating it.

Science then is a bias. It maintains both a belief and a disbelief at the same time.
Whenever science is applied to the belief in God, a god, a goddess, a religion, or a theory, it always provides a bias.
Without the use of science in one's thinking, a strong and religious belief can be held and bias will not stop the religiously honored belief.

Human brains are wonderful and terrible in their ability to 'create' reality.

I've seen people who 'believe' they are dying, die. Satan is the same, and God goes with him. Belief in these things makes them real, because a thousand little decisions a day takes their 'existence' into account. Letting them go creates so much more mental power for living the life we have and doing more good to others.

Satan is out to destroy humans - both believers and nonbelievers. However, the closer we get to God the more Satan fires at us until we beat him down with the full armor of God - Ephesians 6. Baby Christians need to hurry up and mature because Satan swallows them up quickly and turns them from God. Jesus showed us that His Word "It Is Written" quenches Satan's firey darts. Learn the Word of God and learn to use the Bible as a weapon against Satan.

God and Satan are both real my friend. I've fought a good fight of this spiritual warfare so far and I continue to fight. The invisible world is greater than you think - wake up!

No. Your belief isn't going to make Satan real or nonexistant. There's either the fact that "he" exists or he doesn't. If he exists, then everybody has to worry about him, regardless of whether they believe that is the case or not. It in no way implies that he's only real if you believe in him. That doesn't follow. The problem is that you say that only believers have to worry about Satan, but if he exists, then everybody has to worry about it, but non-believers just DON'T believe they need to worry about it.

Satan is a made up figure that was invented to keep the Christians in line.

Religion is only real if you believe in it. Once you give up the belief, the world seems much more logical and explainable.

satan is very real, just as God is very real. It's really simple, if you don't live for God you live for satan. He wants to kill, steal and destroy everyone who willl let him. It's a choice you make.

Nah, he's just a scapegoat... he's only real when they do something wrong and don't want to take responsibility for it. It's like a 2 yr old who knocked over the lamp and gets caught... the 2 yr old will say something like "my hand did it", hoping that the hand will get in trouble for the accident and not his tail-end. *wink*
