I cannot say that I have a favorite prayer because every time I pray it is never the same. My prayers come from my heart. To the same prayer that is recited continously it takes away from the meaning for free flowing.

Any prayer is as good as another. God is looking more for our sincerity than for a recitation of some nice sounding words. When Jesus taught the disciples the Lord's prayer, he meant to pray "after this manner", rather than they had to "use the exact same words".

I don't really pray that much but I always loved this

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

If only we could all have that, my mom introduced me to it.
