Satan is after the christians because they are the only one who believe in him. He doesn't come after me because he knows I would laugh in his face.

Well I think that sounds like a pretty ******** theory
Sorry to anyone I just offended.
Although your explanation doesn't make much more sense either. Supposedly Satan would be tempting the Christians because they are not as easily succumb to the temptations, but the non-believers would presumablely be tempted just the same but its a question of who would give in. Although maybe I didn't quite understand what you were getting at.

In reality the demographics show why Atheists make up such a small number of the prison population. Atheists are less than ten percent of the population according the US Census Bureau. Take into account that in the prisons, the only people that most inmates can find compassion from are ministers and missionaries, then they tend to drift heavily towards Christianity.

Satan can only get his way with baby Christians. Mature Christians put Satan down. The closer you get to God, the more arrows the devil will fire at you. Put on the full armor of God - Ephesians 6.
Are you kidding, "make more sense," Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
Satan knows his children the ungodly and the nonbelievers. You are correct. Satan doesn't bother with what is already his because he can destroy them at any time.

Not if you are a Christian and believe what the Bible says about eternal life. Christians are willing to take the extra temptation from Satan for the assurance of eternal life at the end of the race. It's a small price to pay for the freedom, security, and peace that comes with being a Christian and accepting Christ as your Savior and protector for eternity.

A couple of problems with you question.
One, you refer to a study that is rife with fallacies: More Christian's in jail than nonChristians. The study operates on the assumption that if I say I am a Christian than I truly am. Patently untrue!
Second, you say that it might make more sense to be a nonChristian to avoid the hardships posed by Satan on Christians. Keep in mind that Christians truly believe in a Heaven and a Hell. They also believe that regardless of how "good" you are unless you accept God's plan and repent of your sins that you will not go to Heaven. So, in light of this a true Christian is not going to avoid the temporal hardships that might occur here on earth when compared to the eternal hardships all the "good" nonChristians are going to face.

In order to answer your question, one must believe in heaven and hell.
If you don't want to bother being christian, (or any of the other popular religions who believe in some sort of heaven with an opposite place like hell- such as Islam, etc.) then research some other options-
There are many other options than atheism.
Spirituality and moral living come in many colors and shades.
Love and empathy- positivity. What could be better?

Well, you are working around the issue. Many Christians beleive that, by not being Christian, you have no chance of getting to heaven. So even if you are a very moral atheist, the devil still wouldn't bother with you.
However, I think God looks into your heart, and not at what church building you go to, or even if you go. So therefore, a very moral Christian would have just as much chance of getting into heaven as say a very moral atheist.
So why join a religion? If you are an atheist, and you are tempted by sin, you may not be able to recognize it as such. However religions, including Christianity, give you the ability to see when you are being tempted, and the strength to overcome that temptation.
However, if you want to remain an atheist, thinking you can still overcome the temptations of sin (only having sex with 1 partner, not drinking to excess, not mutilating your body with tobacco, tattoos or excessive piercings, not stealing or lying, not letting money control your life) you should be OK.

We are all born with the sin nature and separated from God because of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God. We are all sinners..
When we come to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation, that means that we now belong to Him and our relationship and fellowship with God is now renewed.
Satan already has those who have not come to Jesus. Now his main purpose is to bring down as many of those who belong to Jesus as he can. His days on earth are short. He is here to steal, kill and destroy because of his jealousy of God.
Satan tempts all of us but, when Christians are tempted, it is their decision whether to sin or not. We don't blame Satan for what we have decided to do.
Christians realize what Satan is trying to do but, we have Jesus blood covering us. We are more powerful than Satan and he has no hold on us if we allow God's Holy Spirit to indwell and guide us.
I know that most of those in jail have turned to Christ because of the life that they have led and they want it changed. Jesus changes lives.
Man made religions are made up by man. Jesus is not a religion. He is a relationship and a friendship. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. There is no other way to God other than Jesus.

actual, i'm an atheist and that i think of Jesus appears like a superb guy. somebody i does no longer techniques being pals with (if he weren't all against atheists, I recommend). I do only no longer have confidence he exchange into the son of God, because of the fact i think there is no God. I additionally agree that one and all faiths have a appropriate in this international. extraordinarily if those faiths sell tolerance and archives and love (like maximum do). yet i do no longer think of they have a appropriate to pry into my existence and ideology and then attempt their toughest to alter me. in my view, i do no longer think i could desire to be prayed for, as i actually am a extra physically powerful than chuffed individual; i in my view desire the thought that existence isn't a try...and that i've got not got any desire nor choose for for "eternal existence". I additionally do no longer in ordinary terms like the belief of maximum of solid human beings probably going to hell for something trivial. I do take exhilaration in the sentiment, although.

That is simple...No, it would not make more sense. Especially seeing that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. You can be the most "moral atheist" that the world has ever seen...and you are still going to suffer the same fate as everyone else that does not believe in Him. Good deeds alone will not buy you entrance in Heaven. God bless you.
