it seems that they are everywhere, pist off and upset that they went to war on false pretenses, lies. (troops words, not mine)and yes, we are talking about iraq, not afghanistan. HUGE difference. who do they think they are speaking out and complaining?? and these generals speaking out against the war, when the president wants their valid opinions, he will tell them what it is, right?? "haliburton is robbing our country blind" " haliburton makes tons more money for driving the same runs we do" ...........what a bunch of cry babies right? next they will want to enjoy the same health benefits as our politicians do (90 days in, full QUALITY, 100%coverage for life) when they get home. they need to shut up and do as they are told just like those know it all generals. the president is the decider!!! comander and chief!!! the president is a brilliant mastermind !!! these winey comlpaining troops needs to just give it another 20 years to work, what the worst that could happen, right????

We hear from the soldiers speaking out against the war because the LIBERAL MEDIA and VAST LEFT control a biased news coverage everyday. Their agenda is against the war - when you talk to real soldiers who have come back - they support their mission and believe that we are helping Iraq get on solid ground. Do these libs think that America was created as a strong country within a couple of years???
Get used to it - the NEWS is biased - talk to real soldiers in real life - and thank them everyday for what they are doing.

I'm a conservative voter, I'm a veteran, I believe this war is necessary.
Like so many of the troops who are disgruntled over this war, I too share their frustration. I do so because of the idiocy you wrote about, regarding GWB.
GWB is the last person on earth i would want making military decisions for me. As commander-in chief, the man is an embarrassment. He is fighting this war on the fringes, it's like he knows more than the generals and field commanders, he doesn't ! We just got rid of the biggest idiot to ever run the defense department, and we thought things would improve, but nothing has changed. Maybe it's because the biggest idiot is still running the show, ya know, kind of like what Hitler did.
I doubt this man has ever read a history book regarding wars this country has won, because he runs this one without attempting to destroy the enemy. You must kill people if you want to fight a war., we are not doing that ! You must invade their sources of supply, we don't do that until it hits Iraq. We know it's coming from Iran, why are we not kicking the piss out of Iran, because the imbecile calling the shots for our team, doesn't have the stones to do it. He's a g.d. politician first, we need a warrior first, if we're to win this thing !

Put it this way.. The only people who have the right to say anything about the war are the guys who have been there, the boots on the ground. I was over there in 03 on the front lines in an infantry company with the Marines. We did what we needed to. There are no politicians in fighting holes. When the first shots are fired, politics go out the window. The guys who have been there will be the ones to tell you that the only thing that matters is the GUY to the left and right, not the POLITICAL left and right.

Okay, this Iraqi vet speaks out against the war, to boost his political agenda. But you can hear troops complain because this war didn't just send in the active duty like normal. They used the weekend wusses and Nasty Girls too. Oh and I'm really sorry that FREE college didn't work out for you!
But back to the point, these weak links are the major voices against the war, and the media is more then willing to 'help' these veterans' voices be heard, for a ratings reason only.

Your husband is interior the militia. That has no longer something to do which contain your perspectives on the militia. until, of direction, you think that a spouse is subordinate to her husband and might basically proportion his perspectives, and is no longer authorized to disagree with him. Your argument worked in Vietnam, because of the fact there replaced right into a draft, and there have been squaddies in Vietnam who hadn't chosen to be there. at present, each and anybody persons chosen at one element to be in this. So, we've wide-unfold that conflict is our chosen profession. i'm prepared to wager you have on no account reported the word, "I help instructors, yet no longer preparation," or, "I help orthodontists, yet I hate promptly tooth." Now, the congressional democrats all declare to help the troops, to boot. in addition they declare to oppose the conflict. i've got self belief that the latter is fake (and for some, the former, yet I won't get in to all that). exceedingly much all of them have been given up and reported, "I oppose this conflict, so enable's gve it some additional funds," (with strikes, no longer words). there are various stuff i do no longer help, yet i do no longer turn around and provide them money. i do no longer help drugs, do i do no longer purchase them. i do no longer help terrorism, so i do no longer fund it. i'm hoping this is basically a remember of time before people who elected the "anti-conflict' democrats comprehend that their congressmen offered them down the river for a vote. i'm hoping it takes under a 365 days and a nil.5, besides.

brilliant mastermind ??? are you a complete idiot? He and his yes men/woman have made so many mistakes and cost so many lives you wonder why anyone would complain.
Good grief, yes they volunteered but I'd think part of the understanding is the white house would not be a total incompetent in planning the aftermath of the "war" but hope springs eternal.

If you're a reporter looking to find a dissident voice, you'll sift and wade through the decent folk until you find someone unscrupulous enough to speak out against his own fellow soldiers and against his leadership publicly, which is illegal for an active duty soldier to do in the first place. In other words, if you go into an orchard deliberately looking for bad apples, you'll always find them; as long as you're willing to overlook all of the good apples in the process.
Most soldiers support this war and their mission, and they look down on the occasional little turd hell-bent on being a loud-mouthed malcontent. Military life isn't easy, nor is it meant to be; it's an all-volunteer force and no one is forced to enlist. If you truly hate being in the military, you finish your obligation and get out. That's all there is to it. You don't go out and make a jackass of yourself, break regulations and rail against the leadership. Individual soldiers do not set policy nor comment on it, simply because 20-year old privates don't KNOW anything about policy. It's neither their job, nor their place, to comment on things they know nothing about. The few out of the decent majority who are foolish enough to show their ignorance are either politically-motivated, or just pissed off at their own units and seeking a petty way to "get back" at them, probably because their units punished them for getting into fights or driving drunk or pissing hot on a drug test.
Talk to the majority of real soldiers, and you'll find out whether they support this war or not. Stop believing the nonsense you see on TV and wake up to the what's really going on in the world.

you are right. the troops are increasingly against this legacy making blunder by the least qualified leadership our nation has ever had the misfortune of experiencing.
there were some startling stats in the most recent Harper's Index - which I won't try to quote exactly, but it is certainly easily verifiable.
the gist of it is that as a percentage of troops that more apply for disability benefits now than five years ago and as a percentage LESS get them, even though we are at war and ask more and more from our soldiers.
however bad you think it is - it's actually worse.
we have monsters living in the white house - and it will be decades before the full extent of the criminal activity of the bush family is fully understood...

because the people signing up feel great patriotism and honor. they want to give back to other countrys in need what they so appreciate here. than when they get there, they find out, they are hated, are not wanted. how can you help people who have no desire to help themselves.
god bless our american soldiers, god keep them close.
