If you live in a good home, have plenty to eat and can read, you are a member of a very select group. And if you have a good house, food, can read and have a computer, you are among the very elite.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness... you are more fortunate than the million who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can attend a church meeting, or any sort of community or faith based gathering, without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are fortunate, more than three billion people in the world can't.

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on shoulder...you are blessed because you can offer them a healing touch.

I am blessed with great abundance. I do not count abundance by material items and money. I am wealthy with an abundance of friendship, love, inner peace etc. These are the things that make me rich.

No, I don't consider myself rich but I feel that I am blessed and lucky.

I hope those people who have material things should help others and give a portion of their wealth to the benefit of the less fortunate ones located anywhere in the world through charity --- like Red Cross or Red Crescent.

God Bless everybody.

I was just thinking this morning how rich are my children. They have parents who love each other and who wanted them very badly. They have some grandparents who are more traditional and structured, and a wild grandma who is always plotting new adventures. They will see so many things at a young age that I never had the chance to. They are brother and sister, so alike yet so different, they will learn so much from each other.

Yay

I agree with you about that.
I may not presently have enough cash, to make Donald Trump look like a poor boy; but having my health is a blessing and richness many wish they had. Being rich is not just a financial term, but a wholeness term presently.

I'm extremely blessed! I've had my share of difficult times in life, but they have made me who I am. I have a fabulous husband, a wonderful home, a fantastic family, and a loving relationship with God.

Yes, I'm very fortunate.... but it's because I worked hard to get everything I have.

Not because some man in the sky gave it to me.
