Official Food Prep Guide Lines?

I have a project I have to do and I need to find I site that has data to back up the cooking instructions for frozen pasta ie. boil in salted water for 7 - 10 minutes. I need to find documents or a study that shows that cooking pasta in this way is sufficient to unsure proper cooking. Any suggestions?

The thing I would do is contact the specific manufactuer of the pasta directly.
