Faith is believing in something that can't be proven.
Hope is trusting that things will turn out a certain way... your hope will eventually be proven one way or another.

Faith is forged through conscious effort to banish all doubt--to quell the voice of negativity within. It's like pounding a sword in the flames to make it better quality--and to remove any impurities. Faith is getting up no matter how many times you fall--until you reach your goal.
Hope is more passive. Some people are naturally more hopeful than others. Hope is more easily dashed. Hope is more related to wishful thinking. Actually, faith could be considered as hope that is indestructible.....

Faith, Hope AND Love are not the same thing but you need all three to work in harmony. see 1 Corinthians 13:13. If you don't have faith in someone then yo have no hope that they can help you. If you love someone then you also have hope in them, and if you have hope you need to have faith.
you decide for yourself if they are the same.

Hope: The idea that tommorrow may be better than today. Because the future may be good or bad, the optimist chooses to believe it will be good.
Faith: Belief in something without question or demands of proof. What kind of person thinks this is a virtue? Believe what you are told and don't question? The virtue of people who want their thoughts dicated by others.

they are comparable, yet utilized in distinctive contexts, they accrue distinctive connotations. English is packed with words whose denotative meanings are the comparable or comparable, yet whose connotations practice diffused colours of differing implications. i'm hoping the sunlight will upward thrust the next day. I even have faith the sunlight will upward thrust the next day. truly comparable sentences, definite? basically the 1st looks to propose a wish, on the same time as the 2nd connotes an expectation. utilized in terms of religious thought, the meanings of the words in context decide on the flow ever farther aside.

No, they're similar. Hope can lead to faith just like extreme desperation or fear of death can lead to faith, and faith implies a lot of hope. No one has faith that God exists unless they really really HOPE that God exists.

No faith is believing in something. Whether a person or a Divine.
Hope is just that. Hope. Hope in something happening, some one helping, that life will get better.
At least that's what I think.
You can have hope with out faith. Its hard to have faith with out hope.

They're different.
Faith: a belief in something without any evidence
Hope: to desire with expectation of obtainment.
With hope, you don't have to really believe you're going to get the thing you want.......you just hope.

Faith is a firm unequivocal belief. Hope, is somthing that you cannot be certain of. It's not a belief, but almost like a wish..
