There is no single way to treat diabetes. If she has diabetes, she should be working with her health care team to define a treatment plan that makes sense for her. Treatment options vary for each person, and are determined by the type of diabetes, its stage of progression, and other aspects of her health.
Maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle is important for everyone. Medications may also be prescribed. And for all people with Type 1 diabetes—and many with Type 2 diabetes—injected insulin is a necessity. People with Type 2 diabetes are very likely to experience a progression of treatment stages as their diabetes evolves over their lifetime. People with Type 1 diabetes are also likely to experience different insulin regimens and other changes in care.

Once a diabetic always a diabetic. The disease can at times however come under better controll, and allow the patient to have to take fewer medications. Type 2 Diabetes controll is often closely related to weight loss.
I had gastric bypass surgery and have gone from needed insulin, 2 oral medicines, and another inject-able to being controlled by diet alone. I however still need to test my blood sugar levels periodically, and will be followed for life as a diabetic.

I've had the exact same experience and would love to help. My friends and I were best friends as kids and re United just before leaving high school. We were having a sleepover where we shared beds, she randomly started touching my belly and boobs and I let her then we made out and soon our clothes were off. She sucked my nipples, fingereded and licked. I had to rush out of her house next morning because of an emergency and never contacted her since but I think she was a lesbian it bisexual:)
