I like Rachael Rae. She has such a sense of humor. The only thing I don't like about the show is the decor. It looks like it was done in the 50's, yet the appliances are modern day. Have you ever watched " Hell's Kitchen?" you talk about pressure, these contestants ( actual chefs ) have to put up with a lot of BS from the master chef that will be judging everything they do. It starts next week, but I don't know what time or channel, sorry. If you find it, it's worth watching, it's on at night.

Alton Brown, for either Good Eats or Iron Chef America. on Good Eats, he covers the history and science behind the cooking, both of which I enjoy. On Iron Chef, he's able to maintain a mix of acting like its a real competition, covering it like it was a sporting event, but keeps a bit of "wink-wink", acknowledging its really no where near as dramatic as they pretend it is. Plus, I think he's more than a little cute. :-)

I love Jamie Oliver too, why did they make him change his old show title from the "Naked Chef". He is so cute too! I really like Paula Dean, the southern lady, she is funny and has good ideas. Rachel and Emeril also Rock!

Alton Brown , he not only tells you how to make something he will teach you why you don't want to add salt until the end because, or you need to add lemon juice here because. He teaches the chemistry behind cooking in a humorous way so it is memorable and makes you a better cook.

America's Test Kitchen on PBS b/c it's not about making fancy food or arranging it attractively. It's about making the best recipe possible & it talks about the Science of cooking. Very interesting.
And my fave chef on that show is Julia.
