Even if we did not praise Him, the rocks would cry out praises.
You worship and praise other things, why not worship and praise your Creator?
If you don't believe me...follow the trail of where you spend your time and money...and there you will find what you worship...and praise. Is it your car, house, body, another person's body, boat, work or kids?
Worship and praise are not meant for any idols. Anything that comes in-between you and the living God is an idol. It also puts your eternal well being in grave danger.
Praise the LORD!!! :o)
Peace be with you.

As far as the Muslims are concerned
If someones does you a favour and then you thank them, this is good manners, right? What about God who provides everything for you.
There are many reasons for praising God, I'll give you some God provides food, housing, health, security, water and many things you don't know. Especially living in the west, were most of us live like kings.
If you praise God it gives the soul piece of mind and light.

The reason one praises God is to be grateful for everything he has done. Everyday you wake up, you should be grateful to God because he is omnicient, omnipotent and omnipresent. If one doesn't praise God, that means he doesn't care much about what God has done. No one else deserve praises, except God, so just praise him. When you praise the Lord he will also protect and his holy spirit will live with you. However, you must try to live a life that is pure, meaning to avoid sins and live a life that is in harmony with Jesus's teachings in order to be saved. Another reason, one praises God is because he gave us the opportunity to obtain SALVATION through his son Jesus. Jesus loves us so we must praise him all the time because he offered himself as the sacrifice in order for us to receive salvation. "Quiet appreciation of the Univese" is not sufficient because you are not showing God's greatness.

God does not need our praise.
The ernestness to render praise should originate in us.
Perhaps you have an erroneous definition of the word 'praise'.

In chemistry, He turned water to wine.
In biology, He was born without the normal conception;
In physics, He disapproved the law of gravity when He ascended into heaven;
In economics, He disapproved the law of diminishing return by feeding 5000 men with two fishes & 5 loaves of bread;
In medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of drugs,
In history, He is the beginning and the end;
In government, He said that he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace;
In religion, He said no one comes to the Father except through him;
SoÃ… Who is He? He is Jesus!
Join me and let's celebrate him; He is worthy.
The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hand that will send this message to everybody shall not labor in vain, and the mouth saying amen to this prayer shall smile forever. Remain in God and seek his face always. Amen!
In God I've found everything!
The Greatest Man in History
Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us!
If you believe in God and in Jesus Christ His SonÃ… Send this to all on your buddy list.
If you ignore it, just remember that Jesus said... "If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven
