who hates NASCAR as much as i do, every time it is on my mom sits and watches is as if it were a religion.

If you didn't like it or wasn't curious about it, then why are you posted questions in the NASCAR forum. NASCAR is a religion. Your mother knows whats best... she must have not raised you. Let me guess, you like Golf? Your brain is slow enough to understand Golf, but not fast enough to understand NASCAR.

You simply do not have to watch it if you dislike it. People are individuals who enjoy a variety of things. If you don't enjoy NASCAR racing, go read a book or do something else that is more pleasant for you. It's simple, and won't annoy people who do like NASCAR. Whining about it will get you nowhere.

It's plain & simple. You don't like it, don't watch it. In a way Nascar is a religion. It's a way of life. because it's the fastest growing sport. Look I can't stand watching baseball or golf because the pace of those sports is too slow for my taste. So I don't watch them.

starting. The drivers are more then likely in a hell of

How can you hate NASCAR?
It's car's that are going at tremendous speeds. It's an adrenalin rush. And yes, it is a very religious sport!

If you:
a) haven't gone to an actual race
b) haven't picked a driver to follow and root for
Then you have no room to hate NASCAR. The mentality that it's just cars turning left around circles gives me a good indication that you haven't really given it a chance.

Sorry for the sarcasm but if you don't like something, don't watch it. That's what I do with soccer and hockey. If that's the only TV in the house, go outside and do something.
