Whether we are in Iraq for a personal vendetta as some accuse, or for the oil or because of bad intelligence (no WMD found), we are there. We have ousted SoDamn Insane and now it is our duty to help Iraq find stability. Of course, Pelosi, Reid and Hillary don't care about middle east stability, or anything else, as long as they can say things that will get them votes. Did we go to Nam for the right reasons? That didn't matter to the democratic congress. All they wanted was for us to surrender and leave and we did. If they also force us to leave Iraq, it will be to surrender to Al Quaeda and the Muslim terrorist and retreat like cowards, rather like the usual cowardice of democrats like Pelosi and Reid.

Right about what?
Was it right to remove Saddam from power, a dictatator who had started two wars in the region, a person who supported several different terrorist groups throughout the Middle East, and a person who used chemical weapons on his own people?
That would be a yes.
Could his timing and planning been better?
That would also be a yes. But since he is the President and the Commander In Chief, those were his decisions to make and the troops (and ours) decisions to back and uphold.

I personally don't think so, one reason he said that they had to go in to save the lives of people that Saddam was killing, (don't get me wrong he was being horrible) but look at all of the innocent people that have died because of the war in Iraq. I fell that this whole thing was about oil. As someone before said America is not here to police the world.

Wow... I can't believe someone was dumb enough to actually write "655,000" Iraqis dead during this war. What kind of moron actually takes Rosie O'Donnell's drivel at face value? All that does is show the world that you're ignorant enough to believe everything you see on TV and not even have the sense to find the evidence to back it up.
Somewhere between 60,000 and 70,000 Iraqis have died during this war, thus far--NOT 600,000. If you add zeros to death counts, that just shows you to be a "zero". Of that 60-70k, the vast majority of those casualties are from Iraqi-on-Iraqi violence, mostly sectarian, indiscriminate terrorist bombings in crowded places, or even pissed civilians taking matters into their own hands, such as what we're seeing happen against Al Qaeda by other Sunnis in Baghdad. Of the number the U.S. has killed, most of those killed were actively involved in fighting with U.S. forces--firefights, lobbing mortars, planting/detonating IED's. Many of those the U.S. has killed, by the way, aren't even Iraqis at all--they're foreigners recruited from other Islamic countries by groups like Al Qaeda to wage jihad.
If you don't get your numbers straight and check your facts, and mindlessly quote retarded nonsense you hear on TV, no one with half a brain's gonna take you seriously. Go back to watching the Smurfs--you probably think they're real, too.
Those not willing to stand for something, will fall for anything.

Right about what? In the war his yes men lead by Dick (the head draft dodger) have been about 90% wrong so far, does that mean he'll never get it right? NO, but a lot of young people will have died for nothing. The only right thing he can do now after so many wrongs is get us out.

well,
what group of "folks" attacked us on 9-11 and where are they now?
They´re in Iraq... ok...... and they weren´t there before we invaded....
they are currently threating us, and say that the 9-11 attack will be nothing compared to what is to come.....
then again, no one took osama seriously when he declared war on the US back in the 90´s, and still, even after we got attacked, people still don´t believe them....
so, should we try to put an end to these terrorist that want to kill us, or should we run home with our tails between our legs? do you realize how much power that would give al qaida? these 5th century nut-cases bested the most powerful military in the world.....
wars never go as planned, al qaide is in iraq, that´s where we should be.

No but he can't back out now as he'd look like a fool for starting a fire and running off when it started to burn out of control (and I would imagine the families of the soldiers that have died already would lynch him!!!)

Nope, war might give peace, freedom and justice to a country, but it's also an excuse to kill people and commit crime.
