Im really stumped right now because my dad said something about palm plates being for like family of police. i just need a link or something to get more info on this. I live in NYC if that helps at all

Then does anyone know about special license plates at all for family members of police officers in NYC?

There are several different specialty police plates for NY on this page (http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/org.htm) from the state DMV web site.

475 hits on Google for "Palm Plates" and not a single one said anything about license plates anywhere. Check your source and the terminology.
